As we all know, Mercy Chinwo is a Gospel Artiste, a public speaker, and an ambassador of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She was also born on the 5th of September in Port Harcourt, Rivers State here in Nigeria.
Recall that she bagged a cash prize of 7.5 million naira 8 years ago and her success story began exactly after she was declared the winner of the “Nigerian idols TV show” in 2012.
Mercy was exactly 22 years 8 years ago when she emerged the winner of the aforementioned TV show and as a young girl then, many people probably expected to see her delve into circular music but it didn’t turn out so.
Sincerely, 7.5 million naira was quite a huge sum of money back then that any young girl her age could have probably channeled into business, built a house, or even sponsored their music career just like mercy Chinwo dreamt of, but was that all? No! Mercy Chinwo decided to do more than this and these impressive Decisions she made below are worthy of emulation;
1. She gave her life to Christ; Mercy Chinwo decided to give her life to Christ despite the huge sum she won. Don’t get me wrong, mercy made a great decision and she never let her money deter her from serving God. Truly, It is clearly evident that God has blessed her beyond measures throughout these 8 years and it also reflects in her recent lifestyle.
2. Mercy Chinwo didn’t continue with her circular music but rather signed to a Gospel music Label “Eazee Conceptz.” Sequel to that, she released her first single testimony in 2015 and “Igwe” a year later. This has also helped skyrocket her career.
Additionally, mercy lives a decent lifestyle. This could be seen from her behaviour, dressing, and above all, her soul-lifting songs. Her Gospel music has gone a long way in blessing the lives of most Nigerians. She doesn’t relent in adding inspirational words in her songs and this has gone a long way to prove that She is a vessel of God.
She doesn’t display much of her private life in public and so could be termed a cool, calm, and well collected young lady who is loved by thousands of people here in Nigeria and beyond.
