A few days ago we reported that Assemblies Of God General Superintendent Rev. Chidi Okoroafor was suspended but it is now beyond suspension, he has been sacked and the new acting General Superintendent has been appointed as well.
Through the report we God it states that HE was found guilty of an immoral affair with USA based woman, Mrs. Maurrissal Nwosu this is very bad of him and its the reason why he was sacked.
Secondly, as a body of christ the best thing for the church to do is to sack him and appoint a new person because first;
The name of the church: If the incident is not well taken care of it may course a lot of damages to the church, for example, people may lose faith in God and many may leave the church.
Secondly To Secure The Body of Christ: This is the real-time to secure the body of Christ, this time around we have many people talking against the church base on the street and even on media. For us to secure the body of Christ we should be careful how we settle cases in church and i think this is a nice choice that they have made.
