If they don’t need you, get out of the way and don’t try to rig the election just because you want to be in charge, as Paul Enenche put it.
Paul Idoko Enenche, the senior pastor and founder of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, recently caused a sensation on social media after advising Nigerian politicians to avoid accepting bribes to get elected. The well-known physician and Christian author urged Nigerian lawmakers to abstain from all election fraud during the upcoming general elections.
He reportedly warned,
“If the people you intend to lead don’t want you, clear out and don’t involve yourself in election fraud because you want to lead,” in a recent sermon on social media. The Dunamis pastor made it quite obvious that the people, not the government, chose their leaders. Enenche urged other Nigerian clerics to speak out as silence only indicates support for evil in his sermon’s conclusion.
And as usual, alot of people has reacted positively after they watched the sermon on social media. Let’s take a look at some reactions from people online below.
