4 Big Similarities Between Bishop David Oyedepo And Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

According to Forbes, Bishop David Oyedepo and Pastor Chris Oyakhilome are ranked among the richest pastors in the world. Bishop Oyedepo is the senior pastor and founder of the Living Faith Tabernacle, aslo known as Winners Chapel and Pastor Chris is the founder and senior pastor of Believers Loveworld aslo known as Christ Embassy.

The two men of God are powerful ministers of the Gospel and have contributed to the growth of the church in Nigeria.

It may surprise you to know that both of them have some things in common. Check out their similarities.

1. They are both linked with the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa.

Bishop Oyedepo was ordained Bishop in the 80’s by the Archbishop. He usually refer to the late Archbishop as “The Lion”. They both had a relationship together, while Pastor Chris worked the late Archbishop Idahosa faith bookshop in Benin when he was young.

2. They Studied Architecture.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome studied Architecture at the old Bendel State University established by late governor, Ambrose Ali( Now Ambrose Ali University in Edo State), while Bishop David Oyedepo is an HND graduate in Architecture at Kwara State Polytechnic.

3. They Contributed to the growth of Benson Idahosa University.

As at the time when the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa went to be with the Lord, Bishop Oyedepo paid all the salary of the staff for one year so as to enable the University to gain balance, while Pastor Chris donated one billion naira to construct the faculty of engineering at the legacy campus. The faculty was named after him.

4. They have a Faithful Vice-president.

Both of them met their Vice-president before they even began the ministry. Bishop Oyedepo met Bishop Abioye when he was 16 in Kwara State, while Pastor Chris met Rev Tom when he was in higher institution.

Many youths in Nigeria and beyond are addicted followers of these servants of God. The likes of famous singers like Sinach, Frank Edward, Moses Bliss and some others started at Christ Embassy
