Many preachers have said different things about the name of the Lord. It is common that we have different doctrines in our religious gatherings.
However, Pastor (Dr.) Paul Enenche has explained four things that the name of the Lord does for those who believed in Him. He also said people should not take the name of the Lord for granted.
Speaking during his Church morning prayers with the theme: “Early Will I Seek You” at The Dome, the Dunamis International Gospel Center headquarters, Pastor Paul Enenche preached on the message titled; “The Name Of The Lord.”
He said people should know that the name of the Lord offers many things to those who believed and trust in it.
In this article, I will highlight four notable things Pastor Paul Enenche said the name of the Lord offers to believers and what we should learn from them:
The first thing the founder and General Overseer of Dunamis International Gospel Center said was that “the Name of the Lord is our tower of strength.”
He said it is important to note that we step into the Name of the Lord at the place of prayer to connect strength. Christians should also know that the name of the Lord brings protection and deliverance to those who believed in God.
The second thing he said was that the name of “the Name of the Lord is the place to run to: we run to for help, rest, direction.”
It is important to note that even Jesus said in Matthew 11:28 that those who are tired, hopeless and those who need direction to come to Him for rest.
The third thing Pastor Paul Enenche said that the name of the Lord does is that, “the Name of the Lord is our place of refuge: it is where we take cover.”
The name of the Lord bring cover and protection to those who desire it from Him. Pastor Enenche stated that it will be wrong for someone to seek for protection somewhere else apart from the Lord.
Lastly, the Dunamis International Gospel Center senior Pastor said “the Name of the Lord is our place of defence: we are not just safe, we are defended.”
