4 Things You Should Learn As Pastor E.A Adeboye Cautions Christians About Prophets Who Prophesy Non-stop

Pastor Adeboye recently issued a warning to Christians about some prophets who are always prophesying non-stop. According to him, such prophets would pray for 30 minutes and prophesy continuously for about 1 hour.

In the course of his sermon on Sunday, He urged Christians to beware of such prophets because God is not a ‘Talkative’. Pastor Adeboye further disclosed that the God he serves does not reveal prophecy anyhow but in steps.

I want to quickly share 4 lessons you can learn from Pastor Adeboye’s warning and how they can be of great help to you as a Christian, and in your dealings with God.

Here Are 4 Things You Should Learn

1. God Does Not Reveal The Whole

Picture To You At Once – 1 Corinthians 13: 9 – 10

As pertains to the warning Pastor Adeboye gave, God does not reveal all that is set to happen in your life at once. Instead, God reveals them gradually.

It is a step-by-step procedure. You ought to take a step concerning the first prophecy before God can reveal the next phase of his plans for your life.

2. You Must Be Patient When Dealing With God.

One of the greatest lessons to learn here is that God can sometimes be delayed, so you have to remain patient when dealing with him. A delay to the fulfillment of his promise in your life does not represent a denial.

In the book of Mark 5: 21 – 43, Jesus Christ was delayed from healing the daughter of Jarius because of a woman with the issue of blood. Regardless of the delay, he encountered on his way, he ensured that his promise of healing was fulfilled.

3. There Could Be A Time gap Between God’s Promise And The Manifestation

As a Christian, you shouldn’t receive God’s promise today and expect the manifestation in your life tomorrow, many believers are guilty of this.

Genesis 8: 22 explains that there is a clear difference between seedtime and harvest. In the same vein, there would always be a gap between God’s promise and the manifestation.

4. You Are The Only Person That Can Stop God From Fulfilling His Promise In Your Life.

There is no Devil anywhere that can stop God from fulfilling his promise in your life and if there is any, you might be an enemy of yourself without knowing.

When you fall short of the above lessons, then you have succeeded in blocking the manifestation of God’s promise in your life.

Above all, Habakkuk 2; 3 reveals that God’s promise might tarry but it would surely come to pass.

To avoid being an enemy of yourself, you must learn to be patient with God’s promise and praise him ahead of the manifestation.
