The wrestling business appears to be some glamorous job from an outsider’s point of view, but if you ask anybody that’s part of it they can tell you that it’s not easy at all. Sometimes lives are ruined. Some of the people in wrestling can recover from the pitfalls of the business while sadly others do not.

For many of them, there’s a common road to recovery; They become born again Christians that find God and thank Him for putting them on the right path. Some people are a lot more open about religion, which is their own personal choice. For a lot of wrestlers or celebrities of any kind, they talk about it because they want to help others and make them realize that there is another way to live a positive life.

In today’s article, I will be showing you 5 WWE Superstars who had opened up about their religion and choose to be devoted to God

1) Undertaker

Undertaker, the famous wrestler gave his life to Jesus Christ last year December (2021). Born into a Catholic family, undertaker has chosen to live for God from now on. He is married and Now worships in a church with his wife

In a Press interview, he claimed he could not imagine being accepted into a church, although his wife Often invited him. But after his first experience, he found it extraordinary and concluded that he had been reading his bible regularly since then

2) Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio is small in statue, but his devout ways are plenty large. The proud Mexican was born Catholic and trained at an early age in the ways of luchalibre. Many of his in-ring performances are riddled with homages to his humble beginnings, and it is clear that Mysterio values his sense of religion.

Before every match, Mysterio performs the Catholic cross across his chest. He even elaborates further upon his sense of faith in his published books, describing the influence Catholicism has had on his life and his wrestling career

3) AJ styles

Allen Neal Jones better known by his ring name AJ Styles is an American professional wrestler. He revealed that he gave his life to Christ when he was growing up

According to him, I remember them saying if anybody wants to give their lives to Jesus please raise your hands,” the wrestler shared. “We all had our eyes closed and I was amongst friends. And I thought everybody would raise their hands, and they didn’t. I was the only one. That night I accepted Jesus, and my life started changing

Now as a WWE superstar with a platform and celebrity status, he tries his best to outwardly live his faith. Styles said being in wrestling is no different than living your life as a Christian among other people at a normal job. There will always be things around you to distract you from your focus but you have to remain steadfast

4) Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle is a Christian, as anyone who follows him on Twitter and Facebook will attest to. Angle routinely turns to social media to preach the word of GOD.
