5 Things That Hinder The Prayers Of Christians

Unfortunately, there are many reasons why Christians do not get answers to their prayers. Today, many believers in christ have prayed, and yet there is no answer to there prayers. There are various reasons why they did not get the deserved answer to their prayers. They are.

I). Sin

Proverbs 28:9 says: “He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination”

The Bible says that a prayer of a sinner is an abomination unto God. However, God will not answer your prayers when you keep commiting sin and disobeying Him. You cannot continue living in sin and expect God to answer your prayers. You have repent and confess your sins to get answers. you cannot disobey God, and expect him to do what you want, so you have to ask for forgiveness, and repent from sin, before asking God to do anything for you.

2) They Ask Amiss

James 4:3 says: Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

Some Christians do not get the necessary answer to their prayers because they ask amiss. They request for things that they don’t need to request for and abandon what they need to request for.

3). Praying Without Faith.

Mark 11:22 says “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.”

You must believe that God is able to do anything for you, so pray with confidence in God, believe that God has heard your prayers without doubt in your heart.

4) Praying And Murmuring

Philippians 2:14 says “Do all things without murmurings and disputing,”

So many Christians always murmur, that they have been praying without receiving answers from God, from murmuring they begin to doubt if God even exist.

5) They Pray In Season.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 says “Pray without ceasing.”

They only ask when they have needs, that is when they remember God, but as Christians we are to pray without ceasing. We should pray in and out of season because God is always ready to answer us. We should not doubt his ability.
