Good things always happen to a man who is favored by God, and he always achieves easy success with little effort. In addition to this, a man who is favored by God also finds favor with men. In this article, I’ll be talking about five biblical things a man should do to obtain favor from God.
1. Live a Righteous Life
The book of Psalm 5:12 tells us that the LORD blesses the righteous the surrounds them with His favor as with a shield. You must do your best to live a righteous life, one that will please God and bring glory to the body of Christ. The LORD is true to his words and would sure bless and favor you when you d this.
2. Find Something Doing
Some of us pray for God’s favor without finding anything to do. Remember the Bible says the LORD blesses the works of our hands. Work is a medium through which God favors and blesses his children.
It doesn’t matter if you have a low-paying job or you are running a small business, God wants us to find something to do and not stay idle.
Psalm 90:17 praise for God’s favor to rest on us and also establish the work of our hands.
3. Study The Word of God
The Bible reveals that God blesses us when we don’t forget His teachings and the way not to forget the teachings of the LORD through studying His word frequently. Psalm 3:4 tells us that we will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man when we remember His teachings and obey his commandments.
4. Live a Blameless Life
God loves those who lead a blameless life and don’t involve themselves in any type of deceit against their fellow man. Psalm 84:11 tells us that the LORD bestows favor and honor on those whose walk is blameless, and does not withhold any good thing from them.
5. Settle Down
Getting married and settling down is one of the ways God promised to favor his children and we can find this in proverbs 18:22 which tells us that a man who finds a wife, finds a good thing and receives favor from the Lord.
