I promised myself I wouldn’t write an essay but here we go 😂
When I wrote this song a few years ago, I didn’t believe fully believe the words I was saying. Even when I re-created this recently, I sincerely was dealing with a barrage to my self esteem. Sometimes things in life come to batter you and make you feel like less. From bullying in my adolescence to circumstances that I never thought I would heal from in young adulthood
But recently I stumbled on this scripture in Hebrews 10:35 that actually shocked me
It basically says “Don’t throw away your confidence because it will be richly rewarded” 😱
Like that’s mad you know? 😂
My confidence In God and who he’s made me to be actually brings rewards.
Well then. Ain’t nothing gonna bring me down! 😤
I’ve got a reward to collect 🥲
I hope this inspired someone to recollect that they are fearfully and wonderfully made.
And you are loved 🤗
PS:-in case you’re wondering, This is what a little portion of my day was like.
Went hunting some more cowboy boots in the market 😂😁”
