A sitting King performs HALLELUYAH Chorus in a church in Ogun State
It is often said that once a man, irrespective of how much of a believer he is, becomes a king, he becomes a traditionalist automatically and that he no longer plays active role in the things of Christ.
This statement has given kings ruling over a kingdom a different outlook as some now see them as ‘fetish and traditional’ even when they aren’t.
The culture has made many believe that a king cannot just get to become a king without firstly going through rites which might involve rituals and likes.
Although, this statement has been rendered false and inaccurate by many kings who chose to stand out. But truth be told, they are very few and moreover, still very few persons believe such king still reigns.
This is the case for HRM Oba Oyewole Oyediran who performed the Halleluyah Chorus with the choir of the cathedral church of saint Paul, Sagamu Remo diocese anglican communion during their 57th choir festival.
Although to many, this isn’t a big deal. But it is a big deal because a sitting king performed it and because this isn’t his first time performing choruses in churches.
Also, going through his Facebook wall, is filled with different posts on musics in churches all around. Which signifies that Oba Oyewole Oyediran is a lover of music and still remains a Christian.
It is our sincere prayers that everyone be filled with the knowledge of Christ as waters cover the sea. Amen.
