“A time came in my ministry when i had to fast for one month without breakfast, lunch, and dinner and my wife made this statement – Rev. Uma Ukpai Reveals

Dr. Uma Ukpai, the founder and president of Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, has narrated how he fasted for 30 days for God to either change his story or killed him in a video shared on Facebook about an hour ago.

Dr. Uma narrated the story during his preaching sermon to his congregation. He said a time came in his ministry when he had to fast for one month without breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He said one fine day, his wife came and said to him with tears, “Please, I don’t want to be a widow. Will you please come and eat?”

Dr. Uma stated that he told her to leave him alone because if God does not change his ministry and life, then God should let him die.

With tears, he told his congregation that there is nothing he can say that can make them cry or break them down. He said the reason is that their hearts are hard as iron and because of pride. He noted that nothing moves an Igbo man. He said even if he preached till another day, many of them wouldn’t cry.

He finally said, “If they know what the bible promises and they know who they are, they will cry every day.”
