Nigerian controversial clergy, Pastor Dr Abel Damina, founder and senior pastor of Power City International, in a video uploaded to his verified Facebook page about an hour ago, clarified that Adam never eat any apple and if you have that thought dangling in your mind, you are wrong.
Pastor Damina claims that even today, many preachers in the body of Christ believe Adam ate an apple. He said he wondered how people could be so dull in their understanding.
He observes that even though during Jesus’s time, he was also teaching people who were dull of hearing, at least the teaching of Jesus was better. He said that is why Jesus ask in Mark 7 if they are also without understanding like the congregation of Moses.
He said that Jesus clarifies to them that what enters through the mouth do not defile a man, but what comes out of it. He said that means if Adam had eaten the apple, it wouldn’t have meant anything. In other words, Adam did not eat the apple. It was his thought that was wrong.
Pastor Damina said the sin of Adam was that he rejected God through his thoughts.
He said Paul verified it in Romans 5:12 that by one man sin came into the world and death by sin.
