If you are going to walk with God, you must be ready to do some awkward things that will look foolish to man. You may have to laugh when you are supposed to cry, you may have to celebrate ahead, you may have to give when you think you don’t have, something awkward can be asked if you to do in FAITH.
Faith is a strong belief in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual conviction rather than proof, it can also be the complete trust or confidence in someone or something or let’s just put it this way, according to Hebrews 11:1, Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Faith is the currency of Christianity, if you don’t have faith, you may not get the maximum advantages of what you ought to have as a child of God.
In the Open Heavens Devotional titled the power of faith, Adeboye shared how his father in the Lord had told childless women in the service to buy baby clothes which she did in faith.
He said “A lot of people began to laugh at her, saying she had gone mad out of her desperation to have a child.
She ignored them, held on to the word of the man of God and nine months later, when the baby boy arrived, it was her turn to laugh.”
You see how faith can birth the unthinkable? God will do your own for you in the name of Jesus Christ.
