Pastor Yemi Davids, the Lead Pastor of Global Impact Church, sends an important message to his members.
According to him, after one church service, a member came to him to beg for money. He then scolded him and said that he is not crippled and he is not supposed to be begging for money. He revealed to the member that they have money that they send to orphans and widows and he is not supposed to be on that list. The member had to disclose that he needed the money for accommodation in Surulere which is quite more costly than his earnings. He had N100,000 and he needed N750,000 for the accommodation.
He advised him to go to other areas where he can get a cheap accommodation because Surulere should not be a starting point for a lazy man like him. He told him clearly that there is no room for laziness and idleness in the house of God because even if they help him up, can he stay up? If he is being given the money, what will happen after 12 months?
