According to a report, Rev. Fr. Oluoma, a Nigerian clergyman, has stated that drinking alcohol is not a sin and will not prevent anyone from reaching heaven. Alcohol is medicinal and was created by God, according to Rev. Fr. Oluoma, who stated this during a recent sermon in his church.
Furthermore, the man of God urged people who consume alcohol to do so in moderation because it has health benefits. He went on to say that in the Bible, Paul advised Timothy to drink alcohol to help him with his stomach problems.
He stated that those who don’t take alcohol shouldn’t be angry when they see people taking it because abstaining from it isn’t the prerequisite for salvation. He made it clear that the word of God advised us to drink but not get drunk.
He wrote,
“Alcohol is medicinal and biblical, whether you like it or not. Just don’t abuse it. Take it moderately. Alcohol won’t prevent you from going to heaven.”
