Life of humbleness is a life filled with respect and great opportunity no matter the position or influence. Pastor Poju Oyemade who is the senior pastor and founder of the Covenant Nation church admonished his members on the need to remain humble in everything they do.
He used the experience of Gideon in the Bible to explain how important the spirit of humbleness is to God. He narrated that Gideon took many Braved and mighty solder, to war against the enemies of Israel but the Lord only selected those that are humble through a simple test.
The Lord only selected the humble ones that will not exhort themselves after the war. It was a simple test but half of the army failed the test because they were not humble in their heart. So as Christian we must remain humble no matter the position or influence we have in the country.
