A 9-year-old girl from Thailand accepted Christ in her heart after watching Superbook. She then led her entire Buddhist family to Jesus.
Young Girl From Becomes A Christian
Peach grew up in a Buddhist home, as this was the major religion in Thailand. She lived with her parents and older brother. One day, her mom decided to enroll her in a faith-based after-school program. That’s when the young girl watched Superbook for the first time.
The first thing Peach learned was about God’s forgiveness through Esau and Jacob’s story in the Old Testament. Two weeks later, the pandemic came, and the after-school program had to adapt to online learning. So, even though online, the teacher continued to teach the children about God. Again, they watched Superbook, and the children learned about Abraham and Isaac’s story.
Finally, God touched Peach’s heart and accepted Jesus in her heart as she realized God’s great love for humanity. She prayed with her teacher to receive Christ in her life. The little girl desired to be part of God’s family.
Leading Buddhist Family To Jesus
When the lockdown ended, and the face-to-face church service returned, the 9-year-old began inviting each of her family members to the church. She first asked her older brother, then her mother, then her father. It was her brother who first accepted Christ. Soon, her mom also accepted Jesus after she led her to watch Superbook.
Then finally, when Peach and her dad got infected with COVID-19, a Christian organization supported their family. They gave them food packs to sustain their needs. Ten days later, when the family got discharged from the hospital and isolation facility, Peach led her dad to accept Christ. She prayed with him to receive Jesus in his heart.
Soon, Peach’s whole family became Christians.
Who would have thought that as young as a 9-year-old girl could lead her family to Jesus? Indeed, with God, nothing is impossible!
