The Senior Pastor of Remnant Christian Network, Apostle Arome Osayi while preaching in a video on YouTube some hours ago warned members of his congregation against watching the popular television reality show – Big Brother Naija.
According to him, any believer that watches the show sins against his soul and exposes it to destruction.
According to the Cleric from the video, “How many of you have sinned against your soul in recent times by watching Big Brother Naija? An open confession will bring liberty and deliverance to you.
I was just going through Facebook and I saw sixteen pictures of high points in big brother, such smoothing stimulation. The devil is preaching the doctrine of immorality and young people are buying into the technology.
The Cleric explained that what is happening is the same model that Cain established, they are trying to advertise Cain’s technology on earth and everybody is zooming in. “If you understand what sin does to the human soul, you will run for your life.
The Holy Spirit is telling you not to do it, restraining you. However, the flesh is likely to win that kind of battle if you expose the flesh again and again to lust. It will overpower the restraint of the Holy Ghost and at the end of the day, work will be required before you can prosecute the desires of the flesh.
This is why our battle is not physical but spiritual, you have to labour and be intentional because the restraining factor is there to deny you access. I know you may not like this, but you see sometimes the letters are bitter in the belly but it will orchestrate a state of well-being”.
Apostle Osayi further stated that exposing your soul to that kind of wardom is causing the system of your soul to be damaged. The evidence of that level of bondage is in the soul, you cannot see it from the outside.
You can still think the person is a complete human being when the person is dead. “I have seen people who have lived in sin for so long and they are the most difficult people to pastor. It is difficult for them to even believe what you are saying.
When you pastor such a person, you are expected to fast and the Holy Spirit will begin to build the structures again and at some point, the person begins to see the possibility to believe”.
Speaking further, the Cleric said the work of rebellion will damage every infrastructure in the soul, and God will need to do an unprecedented work of restoration in that faculty before they can even believe in the first place.
“Have you prayed to people before but they find it difficult to believe? It is not that they are stubborn, there is an infrastructure breakdown in the soul. You may not see any physical change when you expose yourself to ungodly things but your soul dies many times.
If God wants to use you, you will have to renew your mind because the mind is the engine room of the soul and if you lose your mind you lose on the ground. In case your soul infrastructure is down you have to take time with the word of God, sufficient enough to reconstruct your soul”, Apostle Osayi said.
