Any Church sponsored by a “Yahoo boy” is an infectious centre- Apostle Arome Osayi

As important as money is to carry out the works of the gospel of Christ, it is equally important for churches to be mindful of the kind of members they allow to financially sponsor the programmes they organize.

In a question and answer session, Apostle Arome Osayi of the Remnant Christian Network, explained why any church sponsored by an internet fraudster, popularly known as a “Yahoo boy” in Nigeria is an infectious centre and not a church.

When asked, how do we handle the issue of Yahoo boys in the land, they are involved in the church, sponsoring our ministry and boldly practice this fraud in Church?

His answer,

“Listen, any church that Yahoo boys are sponsoring is not a church. It is a platform of infection and not a church. It is designed to infect people so that when they hear the real gospel, they are immunised against it. It’s an infectious ground and not a church.”

Speaking further, he tried to draw example from how the Apostles of Jesus operated in the early church.

He said the Apostles had a goal in mind that was why they operated the early church the way they did.

He said, if you don’t know the goal of the Apostles, you will not know why they operated the way they did.
