Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries International sends an important message to his members. He advised them not to neglect the calling of God whenever He wakes them up to pray at night and taught them how to successfully pray at night.
According to him, don’t use worship songs to start midnight prayers when God wakes you up to pray because you could end up dozing off. He advises that you start with speaking in tongues to revive your spirit and put you in the mood of prayers. He said that you don’t have to stand up from your bed before you can pray. He said that you don’t stand up with a sleepy eye in worship and worship even calms an atmosphere. A sleepy environment is calm, so singing worship songs is like calming an already calmed atmosphere.
Finally, he said that there are some nice worship songs we sing but sometimes, he looks for the meaning of those songs. For songs like, “I will enter His gate with thanksgiving in my heart” the cleric said it should be that you have entered His gate because how long will it take you to enter.
