Apostle Joshua Selman Cautions Some Pastors That Their Imbalanced Message On Prosperity Is Not Helping The Youths – See What He Said

The Senior Pastor of Eternity Network International, Apostle Joshua Selman while preaching in a video on YouTube a few hours ago admonishes pastors not to mislead the youths by not telling them that prosperity does not bypass the law of process. According to him, a lack of proper understanding of the concept of prosperity has been the bases of many unscriptural prayers.

According to the Cleric from the video, “The result of the lopsided financial teachings we have in churches today is lust, greed, impatient, materialism and carnality. So, you have a congregation that is so passionate about money, everything about them is money, and if you cannot show them the financial components of what you are doing they are not interested.

As a result, we have a congregation that is hungry and desperate for money anyhow, either by stealing or defrauding people”.

“People are wrongly told that they are not blessed because they do not have faith. All kinds of imbalanced teachings have become popular but many of them do not hold water.

For instance, you see many young people in many churches who will see a Jeep parked outside, and immediately after the service they will go and snap pictures by its side, lay hands on it, and claim it.

How many young people in churches are looting people, cheating, and saving money just to buy a jeep to prove that this prosperity thing is working, to prove that they are carrying the prosperity anointing. A young man who earns just fifty thousand naira will go and rent a house of seven hundred and fifty thousand naira just to prove a point, as advocated by his man of God, to prove that the word is working”.

Speaking further the Cleric admonishes people not to compromise on the law of process. “Man of God, do not advocate a ‘sharp-sharp’ prosperity message. To be prosperous, there is a place for true knowledge, diligence, patience, discipline to learn principles and protocol to the wealthy place”, Apostle Selman said.
