Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ who came to the earth to save sinners from destruction. Despite the fact that He has gone back to prepare a place for us, Christians still celebrate his birth every year. 25th of December is the date set aside for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. There are different ways by which Christians celebrate it and the most popular way is by organizing a Christmas carol. There, they sing, praise God, and also show love to one another.
However, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, the senior pastor and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International led by example during their Christmas carol. He has often taught his members about giving and he alongside his wife, Lizzy shared over 2000 bags of rice to his members during the carol. The carol was on Thursday, 23rd of December 2021 and Church Gist revealed that the clergyman did that as part of his goodwill gesture to the church and society.
