The Nigerian gospel minister, Evangelist Gospel Agochukwu, founder and General Overseer of Shekinah Arena Ministry, has in a post on his official Facebook account, clarified that you will never see any church that is been run or sustained by tithe and offerings.
Recall the post of Evangelist Agochukwu, where he advised people to stop paying ten percent as tithe to God, and instead they should increase it because things are now expensive.
The post attracted mixed reactions. While some people agreed with the cleric, some people say they do not agree with his statement to increase the tithe. In fact, some say that tithing is not for New Testament believers.
Evangelist Agochukwu, who may have seen the reaction of people, especially those who have an issue with his post about increasing the 10% tithe when he releases a new post,
“If you have an issue with my post about ten percent, then you have not experienced an overflow of blessings. Quote me on this: No church is sustained or run by tithes or offerings. There are people who give God more than ten percent.”
