Baba Adeboye Yesterday Said That Your Generation Will Be Greater Than His Own Generation: Bishop Francis Wale Oke Told Joshua Selman

THE REVIVAL THAT GOD HAS GRACIOUSLY GIVEN US IN NIGERIA SHALL NEVER DIE.

THE RATE AT WHICH MUSLIMS WERE GETTING BORN AGAIN IN THE ’70S AND ’80S WAS SERIOUS BUT SINCE THE CHURCH BEGAN TO RESPOND IN HATE TO BANDITRY AND BOKO HARAM, IT REDUCED DRASTICALLY.

A PROFESSOR OF CHURCH GROWTH, PETER WAGNER STUDIED THE MOVE OF GOD ALL ACROSS THE WORLD AND SAID THERE IS NO NATION ON EARTH WHERE THE MOVE OF GOD IS BEING FELT LIKE IT IS IN NIGERIA NOW.

GOD SENT HIM TO WARN ALL THE PENTECOSTAL APOSTOLIC FATHERS OF NIGERIA TO NOT LET THE REVIVAL DIE LIKE IN SOUTH KOREA.

THE CHURCH IN KOREA WENT THROUGH THAT DISASTER BECAUSE THERE WAS A DISCONNECT BETWEEN THE FATHERS WHO RECEIVED THE MANTLE FOR REVIVAL AND THE NEXT GENERATION.

BABA ADEBOYE YESTERDAY SAID THAT YOUR GENERATION WILL BE GREATER THAN HIS OWN GENERATION.

IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT ANYBODY IN THE BODY OF CHRIST WHO IS OUTSTANDINGLY GREAT, ADEBOYE IS ONE.

HE TOOK A CLASSICAL STRUGGLING PENTECOSTAL CHURCH WITH 32 PARISHES AND NOW THEY ARE IN 200 NATIONS OF THE WORLD.

IN NIGERIA ALONE THERE ARE OVER 38,000 PARISHES. IF YOU ARE TALKING OF GREATNESS THAT IS IT.

THE FUTURE OF THE CHURCH IN NIGERIA IS GLORIOUS

WHEN I BECAME PFN PRESIDENT, BABA ADEBOYE LOOKED AT ME AND SAID

“YOU ARE MY COMMANDER IN CHIEF NOW, AS FAR AS I AND THE ENTIRE REDEEMED CHRISTAIN CHURCH OF GOD IS CONCERNED, IT IS WHAT YOU SAY THAT WE WILL DO”.

HE SAID HE HAS SHOWN US HOW TO LEAD, NOW HE WILL DEMONSTRATE HOW TO FOLLOW

Bishop Wale Oke on THE KING OF GLORY||HOLY GHOST CONVENTION 2022 || Day Two Evening Session || The Sword of the Spirit Ministries

The future of the Church in Nigeria is glorious. Listen to this. Boko Haram is no problem. Banditry is no problem. Kidnapping is no problem. They are happening, they are real but the Church has to be careful, let’s not enter into their territory. Let’s not reply with hate and bitterness, that’s not our domain. We are in the domain of love, they are in the domain of hate. If we cross over from our domain to their domain we will lose. That is not our native territory, we are not fitted for it. Heavenly Mandate . If we cross into a domain of hate and bitterness, we are like fish out of water. Stay in the domain of love and we unleash the ability of the King of glory. What is Boko Haram? Recently, I was praying about this. The rate at which Muslims were getting born again in the 70s and 80s was serious but since people began to respond in hate, something is happening to that. We must go back to our domain.

That apart, a few years ago, I think about 12 years ago. There are witnesses here. An outstanding man of God, Professor Peter Wagner travelled down to Nigeria shortly before he died and called a meeting of Apostolic leadership in Nigeria. We held this meeting in Bishop Oyedepo’s office in Ota. All the Apostolic Fathers in the Pentecostal Church were there. Pastor E.A. Adeboye, Dr Uma Ukpai, Bishop Mike Okonkwo, were there and Peter Wagner, professor of Church growth said certain things. He said I am Peter Wagner, Professor of Church Growth. I have studied the move of God all across the world together with my team. He said there is no nation on earth where the move of God is being felt like it is in Nigeria. He said he studied it. Heavenly Mandate . Bishop Bakare, you were in that meeting. He said they studied everything but God woke him up in the night and said “go and tell the apostolic leaders of the Church in Nigeria that they must not allow what happened to the revival in South Korea to happen to them. Korea used to have a revival fire glowing. All over the world, everybody wanted to go to Korea but now it has become a heap of ashes. If the apostolic leaders in Nigeria are not warned, what happened in Korea will happen again. Go warn them”. That was his last trip to Nigeria before he died.

5 Things you need to know about Pastor Adeboye as he celebrates his 82nd Birthday

We were all in tears, everybody. Baba Adeboye everybody. We were just praying. Then the Lord said that the Church in Korea went through that disaster because there was a disconnect between the fathers who received the unction, the anointing, the mantle for revival and the next generation. They didn’t carry the next generation along and then the revival died. Pastor Poju please come up. He was telling me something. I went to preach for Him at His annual Pastors Conference a few days ago and a gentleman from Singapore told him something about what I have just told you now with statistics. I want you to share. This is very serious. This man (Apostle Joshua Selman represents a generation). We have heard Baba Adeboye, great things God has done with him and his peers, Pastor Kumuyi and co. Heavenly Mandate . My friend Bishop David Oyedepo is going to be here tomorrow morning. He was with me forty years ago when we had the first Holy Ghost Convention. Heavenly Mandate . How many of you heard Baba Adeboye yesterday say that your generation will be greater than his own generation. If you are talking about anybody in the body of Christ who is outstandingly great, Adeboye is one. He took a classical struggling Pentecostal church with 32 parishes and now they are in 200 nations of the world. In Nigeria alone, there are over 38,000 parishes. If you are talking of greatness that is it. But when he said there is a generation that will be greater than his. That is very prophetic because God takes his people from glory to glory.

  • You will see greater glory. Some people are reading this now, you will be greater than Adeboye. You will be greater than Oyedepo.

Holy Ghost Service: Pastor Adeboye Shared how God asked him to choose between being called Dr. Or Pastor

I want Pastor Poju to tell us in summary what that man said.

Pastor Poju: What he said was that in 1955. In South Korea, the population was 4 per cent Christians. It was a Buddhist country. By 1985, which is 30 years after because of the revival, the Christians were now 34 per cent and it was on the rise. By 2015, that Christian population had diminished to 22 per cent. The significant thing is that among the young generation, less than three per cent profess Christianity. So the next generation is back to Buddhism.

When I became PFN President, Baba looked at me and said you are my commander in Chief now. As far as I and the entire Redeemed Christain Church of God is concerned, it is what you say that we will do. Baba doesn’t play with words. I felt like crawling into the ground. Since that time he has stood solidly, every instruction we give. Heavenly Mandate . He said he has shown us how to lead, now he will demonstrate how to follow. That is something. I am representing over 65 million Pentecostals. We want to unleash this generation to the world. Psalm 145:4.

  • The revival that God has graciously given us in Nigeria shall never die
  • It will go from generation to generation and it will engulf the world.
