Being Religious Will Never Help You Pass Through These Tough Times – Bishop Oyedepo Warns
Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church, has issued a warning that religion would not assist anybody in getting through the difficult times that are about to befall the globe. During the sermon that he delivered during the Covenant Hour of Prayer, which doubled as a Trumpet Service, he shared his thoughts with the congregation. He explained to his congregation that the only thing that can help them prevail is a firm belief in the covenant that God has made with them.

He explained that making a commitment with God is not the same as practicing religion. A covenant with God is a deliberate commitment to follow his rules with the conviction that he can fulfill his promise, as opposed to religion, which is action without thought.
“All these religiousity won’t help you pass through these times. These are tough times. Tough times in the world, and they will get tougher, according to Bible prophecy,” he said.
“You need to take a strong stand in the covenant to overcome,” he said.
