The American preacher, Creflo Dollar who recently made u-turn on tithing, spoke today on “The Great Misunderstanding Part 3” via his YouTube handle. The pastor while speaking on the said topic, further addressed the issue of tithing among Christians as he said only stingy Christians will give God 10% of what they have.
Pastor Creflo Dollar: “Since so many people are interesting in tithing, I will keep teaching it until they come out of it. Here is the deal, without grace lenses, you can’t see anything. You will be walking like a blind man until you understand the grace and truth of Jesus Christ. Nobody is stopping you from giving your 10%; it is up to you. I am talking about making people feel guilty, condemned, fearful and even telling them they will go to hell if they don’t tithe.
“Now hear this, nobody was born again until Jesus came. So if after His Death, Burial and Resurrection all you can give to Him is just 10%, you are stingy. He blesses you freely, why put a fixed percentage for Him? Do you know how much we are to pay if oxygen was to be purchased? When you are giving, give because of His goodness in your life”.
