Biography, Wikipedia, net worth, age, and ministry of Bishop David Olatunji Abioye
Nigerian Christian author and Bishop David Olatunji Abioye serves as the First Vice President of the Living Faith Church International. He is a bishop and serves as Senior Pastor of the Living Faith Church, Goshen City, an Abuja congregation with over 30,000 members.
Abioye, who was born in 1961 into a Kwara State family, is married to Mary Abioye, and the couple’s three kids are named David Jnr., Ruth, and Daniel.
He attended the University of Ilorin to study mechanical engineering.
From 1985 to 1985, he was an instructor at Open Cast Polytechnic in Auchi.
He intended to launch a technical company while continuing to teach at the Polytechnic in order to secure his financial future. However, he was moved by what he perceived to be David Oyedepo’s enthusiasm and love for God when they first met at a Christian Student Fellowship in the 1980s. Oyedepo would go on to start Living Faith Church Worldwide. Over time, their bond evolves from one of brotherly support to one of spiritual guidance. Abioye served as the senior pastor of Garden of Faith in Kaduna, the previous national headquarters of the church, when Oyedepo moved to Lagos. He was ordained as a bishop in the church in 1993.
Nigeria’s president, Goodluck Jonathan, paid a visit to Bishop Abioye in January 2014 and participated in a worship service at the Abuja church. Nigeria’s Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, held a thanksgiving service in his church in June 2015, soon after the election.
