Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide spoke to the youths at International Youth Alive Convention 2022 tagged “Destined for Dominion”, Day 1 Opening Night, Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland.
He read the book of Deuteronomy 28:1 which says, “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth” and urged the youth to be obedient.
He said, “You cannot be as obedient to God as Abraham was and not operate in the Abrahamic realm of blessings. Every commandment of the Lord was suitable for him. No argument, no slow motion, if you are Abraham’s seed, you do the works of Abraham. John 8:39.
He further said, “You can’t subscribe to divine direction as Isaac did and not become the envy of your world. Go only the way He directs you not where everybody is going. “Thou shall not go down to Egypt,” he said, Yes Sir. It was the popular traffic then. He stayed back. Genesis 26:2, 14. Galatians 4:29. If you will be as directed or follow God’s direction as Isaac and work as hard as Isaac, you’re free.”
Finally, he said that he has no ministry under Heaven that he is envious of. “There is nowhere they will invite me to in the world today that I will consider an addition to my profile.
Follow His leading and walk as he walked.” So you can’t walk in the fear of the Lord as Joseph did and not have access to the secrets of God, and not emerge a star like Joseph did. Walking in the fear of God gives you access to the secrets of God that makes stars of believers.
