Bishop David Oyedepo while preaching, reveals why many people are struggling today.

He said that as free as salvation is, there is what you must do to receive it. You must repent and be converted. He then revealed that this is the reason why many people are struggling today; because they have not repented. They only appropriated their salvation, maybe because they were raised in a Christian home, or they always go to church.

What shall we do men and brethren? Repent! Many have never repented sir. They only appropriated their salvation, and that’s why they keep struggling and struggling,” he said.

“When you repent, you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost as an evidence that you have truly repented,” he said. “That is why many people are struggling today. They only appropriated their salvation, they never repented.”

To repent is to show remorse for the decisions you have taken, you come to God in submission and humility, and you forsake those evil ways you used to have. This is the starting point of a new life in Christ.
