Bishop Makanu Step Down After He Was Allegedly Caught on Record Asking A Lady For An Affair

A popular South African Bishop known as Bishop I. Makamu, has stepped down as LOVE TV host after he was allegedly caught on record asking a lady out.

Bishop Israel Makamu is the founder of the popular South African church, known as Endless Hope Bible Church which is situated in Alberton.

The Bishop also plays host to a a television show known as Rea Tsotella which airs on the DStv channel called Moja Love.

According to the incident which has caused a scandal that is rocking the pastor and his church, the pastor was reportedly begging a member of his church for an affair.

While speaking to the lady on phone, the man of God could be heard allegedly begging the lady for an intimate affair, not knowing that he was being recorded.

In the alleged recording which is available online, the Bishop who spoke in a South African language, was telling the lady how much he wanted her. Reminding her that they should meet very soon.

After the recording was made available online, the Bishop reportedly stepped down as host of the television talk show in order for investigations to be conducted.

The Bishop himself has said that the incident happened very long ago and that he thought that the issue had been settled.

He also said that the recording was doctored, while maintaining that the lady wants to extort money from him, hence publicizing the recording.
