In Africa, we have a strong belief in witches and wizards. We believe that someone can be possessed by Satan, and forced to do evil to other people, sometimes against their will. On social media, Bishop David Oyedepo recounted what happened a couple of years ago, when he called out all the witches in the congregation.
He said that in 1989, his mentor asked him to preach at a meeting, and he had just had an encounter with Ephesians 1:21 and 2:6, which talks about how we are seated with Christ, far above principalities, powers and every Satanic force.
He said after he was done preaching, he made an altar call, and asked all the witches present to stand up. He then asked them to come forward and he began to interview them.
According to him, one of them said that when they are thirsty for blood, they go to the highways to cause accidents. This witch said that if they are on the highway and they sense a higher power, they clear off!
