Bishop Oyedepo Reveals Why Believers Should Not wait for danger Before Preparing against the day of battle

Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide spoke to his members at the Covenant Hour of Prayer.

According to Church Gist, he revealed that Fasting is not punishment, it is ‘furnishment’. God is furnishing your destiny, so you need to give the Lord a genuine smile. Don’t say it is one area that you are not really gifted because you don’t need a gift, you just need to take responsibility. He said that there was a time he saw a movie and there was a fire alarm or something in one hospital in India, everybody took to their heels. “They were not sick, they just needed danger to steer their potential,” he said.

Speaking further, he advised that they should wait for danger. Prepare against the day of battle. The people that they were treating ran faster than the doctors treating them. They were just nursing their situation, it was not real. The way they ran they were not sick. He said that Kenneth Hagin told a story in one of his books of a 600 pounds weight woman being pursued by a mad dog, she scaled over a 6-meter concrete wall by Western Roll. That woman was athletic, she just needed something to steer it.

Finally, he advised that we should not wait for the day of battle to get ready. We don’t get ready in the Kingdom, we live ready. There may not be time to get ready. Proverbs 24:10. Build strength before the battle comes.
