Brains! Check out The 3 Popular Nigerian Pastors Who Finished With A First Class From The University

Some of the notable Nigerian pastors and founders of ministries did well in school during their undergraduate studies, as a matter of fact, they came with the first class honors in their various fields of study.

This article therefore aims at revealing three (3) popular pastors who who finished with a first class from the university. The are:

1. William Folorunsho Kumuyi

William Folorunsho is the founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church (DLBC).

Kumuyi studied Mathematics at the University of Ibadan (UI) where he eventually graduated in 1967 with a first class degree.

Kumuyi would also go on to further his studies, by taking a Postgraduate course at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), where he eventually graduated and became a Lecturer at the same university in 1973.

2. Daniel Olukoya

Daniel Olukoya is the founder and Senior Pastor of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM).

Olukoya had his undergraduate studies at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) where he studied Microbology, from 1976 to 1980, and graduated with a first class degree.

According to the official website of MFM, not only did Olukoya finish with a first class grade, He was the first person in the history of the department to achieve such feat.

3. Segun Obadje

Segun Obadje is the founder and Senior Pastor of God’s Love Tabernacle (GLT), a ministry whose headquarter church is based in Ile-Ife, Osun state.

Obadje had his undergraduate studies at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), where he studied Building and Management.

According to the official GLT official website, Obadje graduated with a first-class degree from the Department of Building and was the first person to do so.

In conclusion, God can use anyone, whether they did well in school or not. However, it is always a thing of joy to set a high standard academically.
