ONE OF THE WORST DISEASES IN MINISTRY IS MONEY DISEASE.

IT IS A KILLER DISEASE! DON’T TOY WITH IT.
TODAY, MANY ARE IN MINISTRY PRINCIPALLY FOR MONEY.

GOD KNOWS THAT MANY ARE IN MINISTRY TODAY JUST FOR MONEY. SO HE TAKES IT FAR FROM THEM.

THEIR PRAYER EVERY DAY IS MONEY. THEIR CONFESSION IS MONEY.

THEIR PROCLAMATION IS MONEY. THEIR STUDY FOR SERVICE IS MONEY, “WHICH SCRIPTURES CAN I USE TO GET AT THEM?”

IT IS NOT UNSPIRITUAL TO BE IN ERROR, BUT IT IS UNSCRIPTURAL TO REMAIN SO WHEN YOU HAVE FOUND HOW TO DO IT RIGHT.

Maybe somebody is reacting somewhere, we have to check on that person, the studio, whether he is still happy with us.
Light is sweet, it is a beautiful thing for the eyes to behold the sun – Ecclesiastes 11:7
You only need to taste and you will see how sweet light is. Light is sweet and the entrance of His Word gives light – Psalm 119:130
“Your Words were found and I did eat them” – Jeremiah 15:16

Access to light keeps you rejoicing all the time. People think you are mad. It is access to light, it keeps you on top and rejoicing equals health. The more joyful and ‘rejoice-ful’ you are, the healthier you live.
-The beauty of light will start radiating in your life.
Just catch the light, not the letters. Catch the light my friend, it will show. Church Gist. You can’t catch the light without showing it.
You can’t be drunk with wine without people knowing: you will be doing like this (staggered movement).
You can’t be saying, “what happened?” You know what happened. What he took, happened.
People thought I was crazy. It is the wine of the Word. I was very wealthy when I had nothing, but I had light. Light is sweet, it is a beautiful thing for the eyes to behold the sun.
Please go for light. Just keep at it until the light breaks forth. Don’t just read, “I have finished the whole Bible.” Who wants to know? Are we competing? How is it showing in your life?
One young man, the other time said, “he had read the Bible 3 times.” I said, “It doesn’t show.” His life is still red.
The entrance, not the reading. The entrance, not the studying to preach. You know some people only study to preach. No.
Study to eat!!
I was in Ife (town in South West Nigeria) for a meeting and the podium was like this and the light was almost non-existent. I taught and used 63 scriptures which I quoted verbatim. One of the young men came to me and said, “Sir, you quoted 63 scriptures verbatim, do you cram them?”
I said: No, I eat them. You mention one scripture, I will tell you if I had an encounter, what date I had an encounter with it.

Can we say that together, “light is sweet and it is a beautiful thing for the eyes to behold the sun.”
You know nothing shines without light. Let your light shine that men may see – Matthew 5:16. They must see it. It is better we sit down because some of us when we write sitting down, it is not
legible, by the time we now stand up writing, it will become like Japanese language.

Light is sweet, so instead of chewing gum in Church, just chew light.
Ecclesiastes 11:7
Are you ready for the next disturbance? It is the stirring that releases the signs. There must be a stirring, it is not…Calm water don’t bring miracles; it is stirred water that does. Let’s get ready for another stirring this morning.

We will start with: THE NEED FOR A FINANCIAL STRUCTURE
Well, the doors are shut, so you can’t go out. You are going to rest room, CCU will follow you and be sure you are back.
Please, let’s listen. Church Gist. The former things God has overlooked but commands everyone, everywhere to repent. God never counts the past against us if we choose to change at His instructions.

God never holds the past against His people but now commands everyone, everywhere to repent.
Man is liable to error, that is why we have the Master, Jesus to put us right.
Man is liable to error, that is why we have the Word that teaches us the principles of the Kingdom and reproves us where we have gone off and corrects us to be right and instructs in the right way to go.
It is not unspiritual to be in error, but it is unscriptural to remain so when you have found how to do it right. Church Gist. I used to know an individual that had the cheque book of his Church in his hand and pays for clothes from it, ‘e mi lo ri’ (I am the one who saw it). A member of our Church was the person doing the fashion for the man, was concerned because he knows what we teach.
“Excuse me Sir, this is how he is paying for these things, from the Church’s cheque” and there were no these kind of things then. It was cheque we used, there was no way to transfer anything then.
I said: My God, this is an error. It is an error.
He is indebted beyond the throat today. Don’t abuse His money. It is a risk, ask Hophni and Phinehas. He said, “your seed will beg to have a place in priesthood, will beg for bread and water; for kicking at my offering.”
1 Samuel 2:28-34
‘Kilode’ (Why)!
What have they done? Kicked at my offering. Your children are having a field day, kicking at my offering, which is for my habitation – 1 Samuel 2:29
He says, “if anyone remains in your house, he will beg to be put in priesthood to earn a living, for bread and for water.”
E ma s’ora (Be careful). Caution!!

We will be taking our time to look at scriptures on how to handle His scriptures. Church Gist. It will bless you because He will lavish you with your own. The Word says, “a faithful man shall abound with
blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent” – Proverbs 28:20
Just stay faithful, you will abound with blessings.
Church money is not your money. I know you are a Founder. I was also a Founder, if they call me so, because I will never call myself Founder. Stop doing ‘Omo Jaiye Jaiye’ with God’s money.
Why? It is not safe.
Great ministers of the gospel, I am not a signatory to any account in this Church today, by the grace of God. I am not saying, “go and do that.” We’ve been coming on a long way.
You gave me the Mission report: the financial report for last year. I don’t know where I put it and I have not read it.
They gave me the one for Lagos: I don’t know where I put it, so I was looking for it this morning. I called you, your phone was ringing and you were somewhere else.
You know why? That is not where my heart is.
My own account, we were discussing, how some of you will be signing. My own account! You want to buy something, you are now looking for me! No, I don’t have time.
One of the worst disease in Ministry is money disease. What do I call it?
You know how terrible it is? 1 Timothy 6:10-11
That is how devastating it is. It is a killer disease.

I have to announce it before they go. It is a killer disease! Don’t toy with it. Today, many are in ministry principally for money.
I mean, let’s now face fact. You know we are in Church here and it is the pillar and the ground of truth. The Church of the Living God.
Many are in ministry today, we can’t read your heart, we are not permitted to access it, but God who knows the hearts of men, knows that many are in ministry today just for money. So He takes it far from them.
Their prayer everyday is money. Their confession is money. Their proclamation is money. Their study for service is money, “Which scriptures can I use to get at them?”
Somebody came to our Church in Kaduna and was taking one sarcastic offering.
“Some are going to give 300, 000 (Naira) here, there is a calling here”: and it is me who introduced him to the calling.
After the service, I called the people, I said, “I release you from that offering. God does not take from you what you don’t have.”
I said to one them: I know if they take you up and land you, 300 (Naira) can’t come out. So you are all released.
I asked him (the minister) to start going: we don’t do such things here.

One of my friends was taking an offering here (Faith Tabernacle), during Shiloh, I said, “shhhh, don’t go there”: he got the sign quickly.
You know I was a teacher, you can mark somebody wrong. I called him after and said, “never in your life Sir should you without taking permission from the set man.”
Yet we don’t lack.
Somebody gave a car seed one time and I was driving around the Secretariat, 1st week, 2nd week. I said, “who has this car?” I felt led that they should call for the person and I discovered she was a widow.
I said: How do you carry your children.
She said: The Lord is taking care of it
I said: The Lord told me to return that car to you. It’s for the Church, (but) I returned it on behalf of the Church.
Somebody brought me a seed and the Lord said, “I should return to that person.”
I got to the office, said, “they should write a letter”, I called one of the staff, “do you know this address, Festac town?” He said, “he knows.” I said, “You are returning this car now.”
As soon as the letter was written and signed, the husband of the woman came.
What for? The wife gave the car without his permission. When he now saw the letter, he was jittery, he became like water. The Lord told me to return it.
Not all offerings are acceptable or receivable: not going around.
You are not sent by the people, you are sent to the people. Church Gist. You will be going from office to office: It is demeaning for ministry. It is not dignifying.
Can you imagine Jesus, knocking in somebody’s office and say, “Praise the Lord, we are going to Capernaum, we need some funds to charter a boat.” Can you imagine Jesus (doing that)?
Okay, what are you doing there?
I have never entered one office in my life and it is 40 years plus, neither call a member of the Church till tomorrow, you have been there all along. I am teaching you the power of financial stewardship, faithful
financial stewardship.
Jesus committed Himself to no man – John 2:24
Paul said, “I know no man after the flesh” – 2 Corinthians 5:16
All these things we do, they are just humanistic principles. If it is not working, you say, “well, well”: You see it working and I see it working in the lives of a number of my sons here, working heavily.
