Bus Conveying Catholic Women Crashed Into A Tree In Benue, Leaves Many Dead (Graphic photos)

A toyota Hiace bus conveying members of Catholic Women Organization had a ghastly motor accident in Benue.

A source gathered that the accident claimed unspecified number of lives while many others were injured.

It was learnt that the accident happened along Gboko to Makurdi road on Thursday, April 7.

An eyewitness at the scene of the accident told salemgists that the women were coming back from a burial when the accident occured.

The source who wouldn’t want his name to be mentioned said the CWO members were on their way from Annune in Tarka LGA to Makurdi, the Benue state capital when they had the accident.

He said the vehicle they were traveling in lose control and crashed into a tree that was by the road side, adding that many people were dead and others were seriously injured.

As at the time of this report, men of the federal road safety corps were on ground to convey the injured to the hospital and the dead to the morgue.
