Actress Candace Cameron Bure encourages fans to make Bible reading a daily habit. The expression “Living and Active” accurately describes it.
Actress and director Candace Cameron Bure of the Great American Channel says that reading the Bible daily is a “sign of obedience” that will fill one with compassion and kindness.
Bure has been marketing the One Step Closer Bible, a limited edition study Bible she worked on, by posting remarks about it on her Instagram account. It is published by DaySpring.
Bure is well-known for her performances in Hallmark movies and series, such as Aurora Teagarden Mysteries, and for her strong Christian faith. She just secured a huge agreement to create, produce, and appear in movies and TV series for the Great American Channel, a competitor of Hallmark.
Reading God’s Word daily demonstrates our devotion to Him and fills us with His Spirit. Bure wrote, “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12). The verse was posted alongside the phrase “His goodness, His mercy, His love, etc.”
