It was jubilation galore at the premises of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, Umudike Ukpor in Nnewi South Local Goverment Area of Anambra State when the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Humphrey “Gbarie” Nwojoko handed out money for the payment of WAEC and NECO Examinations fees to twelve (12) students who are billed to sit for the examinations later this year.

It was actually a big relief for the students and their parents who were pleasantly surprised with the priest’s charity.

He said that he had earlier announced during the Third Sunday ministration held in the parish that his parishioners who are going to take this year’s WAEC and NECO should come as there would be special prayers for them.

The priest , popularly called “Fr. Gbarie” however noted that many final year students did not show up. Then the twelve who came for the prayers got their examination fees paid.

He charged the beneficiaries to face their studies squarely so as to come out in flying colors, to enable them contribute their quota toward making the world a better place. He decried a situation where many youths these days prefer masquerading and other fetish activities rather than going to church.
