It is a normal thing for every church to have an altar. An altar is the place set out in a church where the pastor stands to deliver his sermon to his congregation. If there is an announcement to be made by someone, this is also the place where the person Will climb. Many churches however have their own rules and regulations as to who is permitted to climb the altar. For instance, there are some churches where women are not allowed to climb the altar. There is also a church that only an anointed person is permitted to climb the altar.
Popular church Celestial Church of Christ (ccc) has in its doctrine that only men who have been anointed are permitted to climb the altar. Meaning that if you are not anointed, you are not permitted to climb the altar.
