Church Refuses To Attend A Burial After The Deceased’s Request Went Against The Church’s Doctrines

The elders at Great Commission Holy Christ Church have been forced to make a difficult decision about the funeral of one of it’s member who died in the church.

Joshua Odoyo Nyariera, the deceased was a 23-year old businessman running an M-Pesa shop in Homabay town before his death. Joshua allegedly took his life leaving behind a suicide note siting that the numerous debts he had made him to commit the heinous act.

In the shocking suicide letter left behind by the deceased, his wish was to be cremated and not to be buried. Things however took a different direction when his body was discovered at the scene of crime with the police taking his body to the morgue.

The church through its management has since distanced itself from the funeral of Joshua saying that they don’t support cremation since it goes against their doctrines.

The church added that they are also conducting prayers to so that they may cast away evil spirit that made Joshua commit the awful act.
