Controversial Nigerian Socialite, Reno Omokri has recently taken to social media to say that Pastors have no business in weddings.
Speaking in a recent post on Twitter, Reno Omokri said churches and pastors have no business in weddings as they are not needed. He said that God made marriage easy like in the scriptures where only the couples and parents are needed to complete the process.
Reno Omokri said, “God made marriage easy. It is man that complicated it. Churches and pastors have no business with weddings. The only people involved in scriptural marriages are; A Man, A woman, and parents. It’s a family affair. The wedding of Cana was at a family house.”

From this post, it can be seen that Reno Omokri is of opinion that a pastor is not needed in a wedding ceremony. Even friends and well wishes are also not needed, only the couples and the parents on from both sides should be present.
