Speaking on the subject: MAKING THE MOST OF A NEW SEASON. Making the most of a new year, making the most of a new phase. Our objective is to understand what it takes to maximize and utilize new seasons of life. Every day arrives with a load of benefits, that means every week, every month, every year arrives with a load of benefits from the Lord. He yearly loads us with benefits.

There is a divine budget or package for every new season of life and for every new year of life. I am sure you know that the government of God is wiser than the government of men. If the government of nations will have budget for their citizens every year, the government of the Kingdom is wiser.

The point is: it is one thing for heaven to have a budget or a package, it is another thing for us to benefit from that package. Many people enter a year and come out as if God didn’t have anything planned for them that year. They enter and exit the year with nothing traceable.

• It shall not be so in the name of Jesus. I prophesy to someone here every package of heaven in 2022, you shall receive in the name of Jesus. Every thing Jehovah has ordained to release to you this year, no devil shall divert it.

What Do You Do To Make The Most Of This New Season? What do you do to make sure this year does not end like other years? What do you do to access what God has budgeted for you?

1. Identify what to thank God for in the previous year.
   The earth is programmed to yield her increase to those who understand the language of praise and Thanksgiving.

Psalm 67:5-7

God wants you to thank Him for what He has done for you before. When you do that, you don’t need to beg him. The earth will respond to your thanks and surrender to you increase.

Identify what to thank God for, identify the gift of life, identify the gift of health, identify the gift of supplies, identify that the devil could not succeed against you in the past year and then thank God and the increase will come. In John 6:11-12, Jesus gave thanks and the bread multiplied. The resources exploded. Identify what to thank God for.

2. Identify what to put behind you

Philippians 3:13-14.
To access what is ahead of you, there are things to put behind you. Genesis 13:14-15. Abraham had to put Lot behind him for God to show him the land. There are things God cannot give you until you put some things behind you. It may be an activity of life. It may be a relationship, it may be a business.

I am talking about things that took your energy, took your resources, took your time, that took your attention, took your thoughts without adding nothing to your life. What did Lot add to Abraham’s life? Nothing, he engaged him in strife rather. I am talking about activities, it may be relationships, association, business that took your time and added nothing to you, let you with regret.

He said put them behind you otherwise what I have packaged for you will never enter your hand. Abraham could not see his lot until he put back Lot. Someone said only a mad man will be doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. You do the same thing over and over and expect a different result.

This is the direct word of God for someone, He says there’s something you must do differently. If you are going to change your story in 2022. Don’t respect anybody enough to allow them tamper with your destiny. Don’t be sentimental about any association to allow them tamper with your destiny.

It may be an action, it may be a cohabitation- you are living with a man that has not married you. I can assure you very clearly that is an enemy of getting married correctly and properly. That is a habitation you must disconnect from.

3. Identify what to put before you
   Identify what to put in front of you, we call it your priority for the year.

Proverbs 4:25-26

Focus is the secret of fire. Focus determines finding. Somebody must be focused before something can be found. What belongs to you in the year cannot be found in the climate of distractions. You have to be brutally focused to find. What you define determines what you can find.

To define it is to find it, to define it is to discover it. If you can define it, God can deliver it. Somebody may say “before this year is over, I trust God to win 1000 souls. Church Gist. I trust God to have a turnover of a million dollars”. You have a business focus, you have a spiritual focus. “Before this year is over, I trust God to build at least five churches”. You have a focus to step into the billions range. Have a spiritual focus and a career focus.

4. Identify the things that worked that needed to be worked again and again.

There are things that did well last year, that needs to be reapplied again and again.

1 Corinthians 15:58

I read some time ago that nothing succeeds like excess, there is a connection between success and excess. We are talking about excess of the right things, excess of prayer, excess of worship. You don’t just do it, you do it again and again. Acts 2:42. They continued daily and by the time you reach verse 47 there was already an explosion.

Continuity is the way to explosivity. If anything must explode, someone must continue at it. Never be prematurely satisfied with any level of result, with any level of success. Refuse to be prematurely satisfied. Refuse to agree that you have succeeded. I tell people until you see Jesus face to face, there is still one level of impact.

There is still one level of success. When you arrive too soon, you have arrived too small. Don’t let people clap for you when you are meant to be starting. Don’t let people celebrate you into obscurity. Don’t let people praise you into irrelevance. In Africa if you do something small, they give you chieftaincy title. Adidigididigi 1 of so and so tribe. I am not against chieftaincy titles, I am only against them if they are occultic. But don’t let anyone say you have finished when you have only started. Whether it is on your destiny journey, whether it is on your career journey. Don’t let anyone celebrate you too fast.

When we were two years old in ministry, some journalists came to us and said the ministry succeeded so fast, can you tell us the secret of your success. Two years old. Truly when we were one year old, the Sanctuary we use at Area 1 had five canopies outside and by the second year it was exploding. I said to them, we have not started, you are saying we have succeeded. In my mind I said, how do you tell a two years old child to tell you how he succeeded? Succeeded at doing what? I told them we have not started, when we start I will let you know. I have not let them know yet.

It should kill every trace of complacency and early arrival mentality. Daddy G.O said they had a teacher who when they were getting C in Mathematics, he told them your mates are getting B you are here getting C. They studied and got B, he said your mates are getting A and you are here. They started getting A and he said their mates are getting A+, they struggled and got A+ and they thought nothing else for him to say, he said your mates are in the university and you are here talking of A+. Anywhere you are there is another level higher.

Identify what worked so that you can work it again and again.

5. Identify what worked but needs to be improved upon

If you want to take the results to another level, you must improve upon something. Numbers 20:8. How many of you know that when God wanted to give the children of Israel water, God told Moses to strike the rock. It worked and they drank water but when next they needed water what did God say? Does it mean the first one did not work. God wanted less energy. Just minimize the energy and get the same result. There are other redemptive implications which we will go into later, the smiting of the rock is the crucifixion. He was not crucified twice so you are not meant to strike him twice.

God is saying I am not saying what you have been doing is not working but I want you to reduce energy, reduce time so you can move faster. This thing worked but there can be a better approach to work it. This thing worked but if I think small and connect with the mind of God, it can be better. In those days when we were younger, there were vehicles they used to whine with hand, now it has been replaced. We used to have canoe, now it’s motorized boat. You spare the energy.

In Acts 6:1-7, the disciples were ministering welfare before and it was working but a time came when there was so much complain and grumbling and they had to change approach. They identified people that could handle the welfare in a way that the stress, the grumbling and murmuring will be reduced and the results multiplied. A different approach is the answer to persistent reproach.

• I prophesy to someone how to do it differently and get a drastic result, how to do it differently and get a change of story, how to do it differently and get usual results, the Lord shall show that to you in the name of Jesus.

1. Identify what God would want you to do or focus on this year.
   Lord what would you have me do, that is the question Paul the Apostle asked in Acts 9:6 and everything opened up. What will you have me do, what would you want me to emphasize this year. What do you want to show me?

Don’t say God is not speaking, you have to prepare, position, tune in and hear it. God is talking. Matthew 4:4. Definitely God is saying something. Maybe He will say pay closer attention to this your last child this year, maybe He will say pull out that investment otherwise it’s going to crash. He will just say something. One day someone came and introduced people that deal in stocks to us. If there is any excess money lying down you can give it to them.

So we gave them some money from Church, just help us put it there. One day the Holy Spirit said move it today, so we moved it out today and tomorrow everything crashed. People lost billions, hundreds of millions.

It is possible to suffer drastic losses. Not hearing can cost a person his life. One man was driving in America, praying about a journey he was going to take and the more he prayed, he lacked peace but he prayed and prayed and prayed, no peace and then he decided the journey will not hold.

Ticket was already booked, the people were calling him and he told them he was not coming. The same flight they booked him on crashed under twenty four hours, 123 people on board, none survived. He was meant to be on board but the Holy Ghost could not allow him move. He could have died and still gone to heaven as a child of God but didn’t fulfill his destiny on earth because he couldn’t hear God.

• You will not be wasted.

God may give you an instruction to move your giving into another level. I have shifted myself in levels before, I was receiving #10 and I was tithing #1, I was expecting to receive #100, instead of tithing on what I have now, I started tithing on what I expected to come. That is Satan you can’t keep me here and I shifted there by force. There are some of us, God will give you instruction this year to increase in evangelism, increase in Kingdom service. God may ask you to give Him more of your time this year. You shall not fail.

What are the blessings of divine instruction?

• Termination of Frustration
• Abundance of Provision. When God gives you direction or instruction, He leads you into abundance.
• The exceeding of expectations. Peter was looking to get just a handful of fishes but when he listened to divine instruction, He got more than he bargained for. He had to call others to assist him with the breakthrough
• In the year 2022, every trace of frustration is aborted in your life in Jesus name. I prophesy the abundance of provision in your direction.
• In the year 2022, every expectation for the year is exceeded.
• Establishment of satisfaction. When you follow instruction, you end in satisfaction. Church Gist. It is not possible to be unfulfilled following God’s voice.
• The achievement of elevation. The voice of God moves people up. Galatians 2:2. The word of God and the voice of God changes your level. If you are going to change level or move from glory to glory, you must be ready to hear what God is saying. The month of January is our month of divine direction and vision. Church Gist. This month we shall be going into the nitty gritty of how God speaks because God talks to us in different ways and for some people they don’t understand because they don’t know that He is the one speaking. How to modulate the frequency, How to set yourself in a conducive climate. There is a way in which you can tune the climate around you to receive.
  -This year, every one whose ear is deaf shall be opened. Every one whose eyes are blind shall be opened. It is your year and if it is good it is yours.

1. Determine to walk uprightly.
   Psalm 84:11

Walking in uprightness will give you access to your inheritance this year. This year is loaded with benefits but it is only for those who walk uprightly, not those who walk crookedly. From beginning of this Church till today, the money of this Church belongs to the Church and a large bulk of the money that enters my hand flows back to the Church, so God is not afraid to entrust because He knows one dime will not miss. Church Gist. There are people who have come to me that they are trusting God for healing and they brought me prophet offering, I can’t heal you, give it to the one who can heal you. If I don’t touch what is not mine, no devil can keep what is mine. There are many of us that need to change the way we do business so that God can entrust massive wealth to you.

We went for a crusade and we saw people selling wristbands and bangles with our pictures on it. Printed and manufactured by themselves to come and sell. We don’t function like that, I didn’t authorize you to sell my picture, if you are interested in selling picture sell your own. If it was some people God gave the privilege of this kind of thing, they would have sold the Church since. Pay so and so amount before you can be prayed for. I want us to make our mind that this year every financial deal shall be straight and see how God will shock you.
