A few hours ago, a popular Nigerian celebrity, Ifadayo Olarinde, best known as Daddy Freeze, took to his social media page and reacted to a video of a pastor who called out pastor David Ebiyeomie for preaching against “Yahoo boys”.
According to the pastor, he said that David Ibiyeomie is not supposed to put a course on Yahoo boys because they are not the problem of Nigeria. He added that David Ebiyeomie could have put a course on politicians including the ones who attend his church, stressing that they are the ones who gave him the money to buy big cars and private jets. He, however, said that “Yahoo boys” are better than politicians.
Reacting, Daddy Freeze said that if one should curse Yahoo boys, what about the greedy politicians who have destroyed the nation. Daddy Freeze, however, said that the pastor did not do anything wrong for comparing the act of politicians and that of Yahoo boys, stressing that religious and political leaders are the curse of the problem.
According to Daddy Freeze, he said: “On a more serious note, if you curse Yahoo boys, what about the greedy politicians that destroyed this glorious nation? That is my sentiment with this preaching. He did not do anything wrong addressing the evil of Yahoo boys. However, the effects of “Yahoo Yahoo” is imperceptible compared to the abysmal greed of our leaders, both religious and political, this is the bane of our existence”.
