Late that evening, I was playing a song with a cartoon character for my daughter. She had fun dancing.
I noticed that the battery was on one per cent. I plugged it to a power bank. My daughter, Danielle refused to stay on one spot so I had to hold the power bank while she held the phone and strolled round.
Then she attempted unplugging the phone from the power bank. I told her, “if you disconnect it, the phone will shut down”.
Well! She did not listen. She disconnected it and the phone went off.
But the words, “if you disconnect, it will shut down” did not leave my consciousness. It stuck!
What is dying because you are disconnected?
We are all branches connected to the vine. Without the vine, we will have no sap flowing through us and we cannot bear fruits.
Fruits are birthed through connection and not mere contact.
Love is a fruit. When it is missing in you, check if you are still connected.
How about joy, patience, self control and all others? Once their is no fruit on display, most assuredly there is no connection to the power source.
Stay connected. Something dies in us every time we sin. Stay rootedso you can be fruitful.
