The last and only daughter of Mike and Gloria Bamiloye, Darasimi Oyor nee Bamiloye pens down emotional yet inspiring story on her Instagram page as she recounts what happened years ago and the lessons she learnt from her brother Joshua Mike-Bamiloye when they both went out with their mom to visit their dad, Mike Bamiloye.

Story Time! Many years ago, Dad was out on one of His project trips in which He will stay in an isolated place to receive from the Lord the next movie.

Mom took @jay_mikee and I to visit him and to spend some time with him, at least 5 hours.
Dad, knowing there’s no way he could keep us entertained for five hours without help, 😂 set up a room with A tv and dvd machine and got us some snacks, food and drinks for us to enjoy ourselves with. Then he got two dvd collections 1. 10 in 1 barbie animation (that was mine obviously). 2. 10 in 1 Star Wars animation (Joshua’s).
But we had just one TV. What are we going to do?
So we agreed that we would watch an episode of the Barbie movie first and then the Star Wars next and we would keep watching each till mom came for us.
Ladies and gentlemen, we ended up watching almost 5 Barbie movies and none of the star wars. I still don’t know how he sat through 5 hours of Barbie movies and didn’t “fight for his right”. It’s still baffles me till today.

We went home having had a lovely time and I kept checking his face but he didn’t show a hint of sadness. I felt bad especially because we never saw either collections again. Yet Joshua was all
Jovial and himself through the entire trip home and after. I’m sure he doesn’t even remember this day 😂
But @jay_mikee taught me a lot that day. As young as you were then, you understood selflessness and the practice of prioritizing other people’s needs above yours. You’ve exhibited this in many ways since then and God has blessed you abundantly for your heart. Thank you for being a great big brother.
