Bishop Wisdom Irabor, the presiding bishop of Answers Assembly spoke about the recent incident that happened in the north as a certain Deborah Samuel was killed for blasphemy against Mohammed.
In a recent post on his official Facebook page, he said that he will suggest that Christians and Muslims go their separate ways for peace to reign because this marriage between Christians and Muslims called Nigeria is no longer working out. He advised that they call for a legislative referendum on the number of people that wants us to go our separate ways, you will be surprised to know that both parties are completely tired to be part of this marriage called Nigeria.
Speaking further, he said that this may even solve some of the problems facing Nigeria from the onset. He said that the only challenge with this approach is the division that still exists among each religious divide. He said that we have so many kinds of Muslims within the Muslim community but they won’t see themselves as enemies and it can still be managed.
The same thing with Christianity in Nigeria. He said that some Pastors don’t see eyeball to eyeball with other pastors. They may also agitate for their nation within the Christian Nation. It is still very okay because it won’t get to the point of killing ourselves like we are doing now. He said that the problem of Nigeria is a very serious one because the solution to the problem also comes with a new situation to manage.
Finally, he said that Nigeria is like a child whose mother would have preferred she saw the monthly flow that eventually gave birth to the child called Nigeria.
