The General Overseer of the Evangelical Bible Outreach Ministries International (EBOMI) and the National Vice Chairman of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Prophet Isa El-Buba has warned the Federal Government that Boko haram members that surrendered should not be allowed to mingle with the public as they have been negatively radicalized, demonically and indoctrinated in the process.

Prophet El-Buba who stated this while speaking with newsmen in Jos on Sunday said, they should not be allowed to mingle with ordinary citizens.

According to him, they should be engaged and confined in an environment where they can be given certain tools or handwork to develop themselves.

He said, “They should be confined and restricted for now to a particular place to undergo reformation where their brain and spirit will be de-radicalized which will take a minimum of three years”, adding that “They should also be taught the value of family lives by Islamic teachers or leaders of sound mind.”

He further stressed that “Government should not allow the repentant Boko haram members to go into the public.

“The ones that are found to be at the centre of the game should also be confined, refined for now but be given all that is necessary to enable them to extract information from them to deal with others that are still in the bushes.”

The Christian cleric further argued that the ones that have been conscripted into the movement without their will or desire should be helped to be reformed reintegrated back into the society.

” That will take up to three years to make sure that these people are fit into the society.”

He admonished northern masses to rise up to protect the glory of the north and give peace a chance so that the region will experience peace progress and prosperity.

El-Buba also noted that ” when you talk of banditry, illiteracy, poverty, backwardness it is the north.

He added, “the North is one of the most blessed with so many intelligent people but ” because we choose to keep our sight on the side of deception, we have found ourselves where we are today.”
