“Do Not Borrow Money To Give God” – Bishop Oyedepo Warns Members, Reveals Why

The General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide spoke about the Fundamentals of Kingdoms wealth in a recent communion service. He explained to his members the reason why they need to be a cheerful giver and also why they need to give. During the course of his message, the man of God said something that is very sensitive and important. He said that one should not be forced to give, neither should he borrow before he can give God. He said it is not scriptural.

He said that, there shouldn’ t be any reason why Christians should allow anybody to force them to give. If you don’ t give willingly, it is very much wasted. At no time should anybody harass you to give what you’ re not willing to give.

He however gave an illustration of how someone came to him many years ago and said that God told him that he should get him a car. He asked the person to tell God that he has not heard the message directly from him and claimed that at that time, there was no way he could get a car for anybody in his life. God never told Abraham to bring Isaac until He gave him one.

The cleric further explained that if you borrow to give God, you are breaking the scriptures. ” Go and borrow, that’ s not God. Owe no man nothing. Don’ t ever borrow to give. Who are you trying to impress? ” , He said. He however told them to be relaxed and understand that God is not a task master. ” Understand that. It’ s not Scriptural. If you borrow to give you’ re breaking Scriptures” , he said.

In conclusion, he said that until Jesus comes no one will ever be forced to give in his Church. He is not in need so what’ s the problem? He solves our problems. He then advised them to sow into a good ground.
