Apostle Michael Orokpo is the Senior Pastor of Encounter Jesus Ministries. In his recent sermon, he warns his congregation not to indulge in church politics, because any position gotten through gimmick does not last.
Speaking further, the Cleric said that God will uplift you when He sees sincerity in your heart. He buttressed his point by referring to Jeremiah 17:10. According to this Bible verse, God searches the hearts and examines secret motives, to reward a man according to his ways.
“God tests the hearts of people through their services to one another. Be humble enough to serve, do not be a Christian that does not serve anybody, because God will always pass through someone to uplift you”, the Cleric said.
According to the Cleric, God has a way of dealing with proud hearts, He will orchestrate situations that will work against your wrong motives and set your priorities right.
