In his words, here is what Reno omikiri said;

“Deuteronomy 14:26 encourages you to use your tithes to buy “wine, or strong drink”. You guys are putting a burden on yourselves that Scripture did not put. Psalm 104:15 says God created wine to gladden the heart of man. Christ drank wine and taught us that wine would be drunk in God’s Kingdom-Matthew 26:29. These words of Christ are corroborated (not that we should ever need to corroborate Christ’s Words) by Judges 9:13. There is a very big difference between religion and faithfulness. The teaching that alcohol is sinful is religious teaching. It is not faithful teaching. God has not called us to be religious. He has called us to be faithful, even if faithfulness means being controversial”.
